As the Occupational Therapist, you will conduct assessments and provides interventions to help improve people's function and independence within the NDIS and Aged Care frameworks. The OT focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes wellness and encourages clients to be actively involved in decisions about their care.
This role will be based in the office in Mulgrave as well as in the community at Schools and Homes

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting evidence-based assessments and clinical management for people with cognitive, physical, or psycho-social disabilities, aligning with their NDIS goals.
- Recommending and prescribing Assistive Technology and home modifications funded by the NDIS and other agencies, including preparing funding applications.
- Managing clients with increasing complexity, multiple conditions, and functional limitations, providing tailored interventions and recommendations for daily living activities.
- Use a strengths-based, client-centred approach to help clients identify their goals and provide support to achieve and sustain those goals over time.
- Communicating with NDIS, external agencies, and support workers; write high-quality reports; participate in quality improvement projects; and ensure compliance with legislation, funding guidelines, and service standards.

- First Aid & CPR Qualifications
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Tertiary Qualification & AHPRA Registration
