This role is provided with full administrative support, allowing the successful candidate to focus purely on clinical tasks and patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating as the triage health professional and focus on providing urgent case reviews to aged care residents (when GP unavailable to review)
- Taking medical history, undertaking clinical examination. arranging investigations
- Implementing management plans and provide appropriate preventative health care
- Assisting with new resident admission and preventative health care
- Reviewing care plans and participate in case conferences as required.
- An AHPRA registered Nurse Practitioner with Aged Care experience
- Be able to work in the office in Surrey Hills Flexible working arrangements are an option
- Be able to apply for a Medicare Provider number
- Have a great attitude and be a company team player
