About the role

The Clinical Quality Coordinator Team Leader is a newly created position reporting to the Senior Clinical Manager and leading a small team of Clinical Quality Coordinators.  This position is responsible for the ongoing monitoring, improvement and review of clinical quality and risk management, to achieve, maintain and innovate clinical care in accordance with quality standards and the Vasey RSL Care ‘Excellent Care’ clinical governance framework.   

About you

To be successful in this position, you will need to be highly organised, willing to learn new things and be enthusiastic and supportive as aged care continues on its transformation journey.

You will have:

  • Current and ongoing registration as a Registered nurse with AHPRA with no restrictions.
  • Demonstrated experience with clinical risk and quality management.
  • Extensive experience in aged care includes provision of clinical care and supervision of the workforce.
  • A commitment to improving the way clinicalcare is delivered for olderpeople.
  • Knowledge of Charter of Aged Care Rights, relevantaged care legislation and standards.
  • Demonstrated abilityto lead change,achieve deadlines, and to work autonomously and as a member of an effective team.
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills, and an ability to apply these skills to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Current full driver’s license and ability to drive.
  • Satisfactory completion of a National Police Records Check (arranged by Vasey RSL Care).
  • Valid working rights which will be subject to a VEVO check.
