About the Role

Our client is a not-for-profit member-based organisation that was established by the community to work for better outcomes for its members. As the peak body within the space, it works to advocate, support and empower its members.

As the Program Manager, you will be supporting the CEO and Board of Directors to deliver the strategic direction and vision of the organisation. You will develop and maintain key relationships with various stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation and ensure that the organisation meets all requirements to maintain its funding requirements. The successful candidate will be a proactive and sound leader, who enjoys collaborating with other managers and mentoring and developing staff.  

Skills and Abilities:

  • Tertiary qualification (bachelor’s degree) in a relevant discipline
  • Training in clinical and or professional supervision.
  • Ability to lead and manage small and large teams.
  • Previous experience and understanding of the key competencies required to lead, develop and mentor teams to achieve high-performance outcomes
  • Is highly resilient, and understands components of vulnerability and wellbeing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver leadership & operational outcomes as set by the CEO and Board’s strategic direction.
  • Demonstrates high-level planning, organisational practice and time management capability.
  • Establish and maintain processes and policies which contribute to the success of meeting funding requirements
  • Ensuring that all services & programs are evidenced informed, and staff are adequately trained and supervised to perform the requirements of their role.
  • Demonstrates high-level delegation to maintain the role, and support of staff and programs.
