Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader

We are currently seeking an experienced Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader to work with our client in delivering lifestyle programs to residents


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a leadership role within in Leisure and Lifestyle and understand the importance of team management and appropriate documentation.  This exciting opportunity would be suitable for individuals looking for part-time work and the hours are negotiable. Ideally you will be interested in participating in a rostered weekend every 3-4 weeks.


To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in Lifestyle and Leisure
  • Previous experience within a leadership role
  • Experience developing, implementing and evaluating assessments and care plans for leisure and activities- including for high care residents
  • Understanding of accreditation standards
  • Experience working in facilities with non- English speaking residents would be advantageous


Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Managing a team and directing them accordingly
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive, meaningful and enjoyable lifestyle program
  • Coordinating and supervising the delivery of lifestyle programs
  • Documenting the activities and progress
  • Meeting resident needs and wants on an ongoing basis in relation to the Lifestyle and Leisure program
  • Promoting and facilitating participation within the program
  • Implementation of organisational policies and procedures within the lifestyle programs and activities
