We are currently seeking an experienced Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader to work with our client in delivering lifestyle programs to residents
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a leadership role within in Leisure and Lifestyle and understand the importance of team management and appropriate documentation. This exciting opportunity would be suitable for individuals looking for part-time work and the hours are negotiable. Ideally you will be interested in participating in a rostered weekend every 3-4 weeks.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- A minimum of three years’ experience in Lifestyle and Leisure
- Previous experience within a leadership role
- Experience developing, implementing and evaluating assessments and care plans for leisure and activities- including for high care residents
- Understanding of accreditation standards
- Experience working in facilities with non- English speaking residents would be advantageous
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Managing a team and directing them accordingly
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive, meaningful and enjoyable lifestyle program
- Coordinating and supervising the delivery of lifestyle programs
- Documenting the activities and progress
- Meeting resident needs and wants on an ongoing basis in relation to the Lifestyle and Leisure program
- Promoting and facilitating participation within the program
- Implementation of organisational policies and procedures within the lifestyle programs and activities
