Our client supports people with physical and intellectual disabilities and developmental delays to achieve their goals

They support and empower people to defeat drawbacks and barriers to personal and social growth.  They are currently seeking a flexible and resourceful Psychologist to join their team of young, energetic and motivated service delivery personnel. The successful applicant must have a passion for helping people and a goal to positively change lives!


To be successful in this role you must have;

  • A full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with NDIS participants
  • A minimum of one year's experience writing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans
  • Experience in Functional Behavioural Assessment


Your responsibilities will include;

  • Providing high quality assessment and intervention for clients within the context of Psychological Health care in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner, in keeping with accepted best practice standards. This will include clinic-based appointments and home visits
  • Undertaking comprehensive functional behaviour assessments
  • Developing person-centred Behaviour Support Plans, and working within a multidisciplinary team to implement recommendations
  • Training teams and support systems in the implementation of Behaviour Support Plans
  • Reviewing data to inform intervention strategies
  • Training and supporting colleagues, providers and families to implement Behaviour Support Plans and related strategies
  • Providing counselling and intervention strategies to clients
